I bought this 1987 928 engine to rebuild in hopes of learning a bit more about engines in general and my car in specific. The engine appears to be in pretty good condition and seems to be completel. We'll find out.. Since I don't have a garage, I had to stake out a place in the basement to work. To get it down to the basement took a total of four guys - I strapped it down to a four-wheel dolly and we slowly let it down a ramp down into the basement.

Since I don't have an engine hoist, I'm going to leave it on the dolly for now... Go to Day 1
