Our first DE of the year was at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut. Friday night we arrived at the hotel - it was cold but clear and dry. When we woke up in the morning, there was almost four inches of snow on the car! To the best of my knowledge, it was the very first time. It was certainly my first time driving it in the snow. However, it didn't go so badly and by the time we got to the track, the snow had turned to sleet and had mostly melted. Unfortunately the track was still very wet and icy and the day was called by the track. The next day turned out to be very cold, but clear and dry..
Here I am, staged behind another 928, waiting to be released onto the unsuspecting track! My instructor doesn't know what he's getting into. :)

It sure is cold!

Comeon, I'm freezing in here!
Hey! If I roll up the windows and turn the heat on...
And we're off.
See the hills in the background? That white stuff is SNOW!
I think I just passed a snowman.

Jeez. They'll let 911's out anywhere!
I'll be comin' 'round the mountain..
Okay, I'm ready for more!
Flagging REALLY sucked today!
Sure is a lot of snow..
Certainly a lot of cars came out to play, snow or no snow.

Callie is trying to figure out why she's out here in the freezing cold.
Maybe she likes the cars. You know, Chicks Dig The Car.
